Q. How Does SnapContract.com Work?

A. First, create a contract by cutting and pasting the contract terms or by drafting up the terms from scratch. Next, add the contract parties and invite them to sign. Each party may then sign the contract electronically. For record retention, each party may view, store, email or print the contract.

A. An e-contract is an agreement created and signed electronically. Instead of a traditional ink signature, an electronic signature (e-signature) is used to complete the document.

Q. Are E-Contracts Legally Binding?

A. A common myth is that there are no existing laws or regulations regarding e-contracts and electronic signatures. On the contrary, there have been laws passed in numerous countries to provide legal mandate for electronic transactions. Because of these laws, e-contracts are admissible in court and enforceable by law.
